Kynex ("we", "our", or "the app") is a media transfer application that helps you copy photos, videos, and files from your device to USB drives and external storage. Your privacy is central to how the product is designed.

- We do not require an account to use Kynex.
- We do not upload your photos, videos, or files to our servers.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- Transfer data stays on your device unless you choose to export a report.
Information we do not collect
Kynex does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, or the contents of your media library. We do not operate a cloud backup service for your files.
Information stored on your device
To provide transfer and resume functionality, Kynex stores data locally on your phone, including:
- Transfer session metadata (selected sources, destination, progress)
- A manifest of files queued or copied during a transfer
- App settings such as verification level and duplicate handling preferences
- Recent destination bookmarks permitted by iOS or Android
This information remains on your device and is used only to run transfers, show history, and resume interrupted sessions.
Permissions
Kynex may request access to:
- Photos & videos — so you can select gallery items to transfer
- Files / external storage — so you can choose a USB or external folder as the destination
- Notifications (Android) — to show transfer progress when the app is in the background
You can revoke permissions at any time in your device settings. Some features will not work without the relevant permission.
Third-party services
Kynex uses platform services provided by Apple and Google (for example, the photo library and file picker). Those services are governed by their own privacy policies. We do not receive your files through those platform APIs on our servers.
Support communications
If you email us at support@freshflowai.ca, we will use the information you provide only to respond to your request.
Children's privacy
Kynex is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision.
